How to connect Bittrex to Binocs Via API?

To Connect with Bittrex, you require a pair of keys - an API key and a secret key. These keys allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.

How to create an API key and Secret Key in Bittrex?
 

Before you create the API key and secret, please take note of the below points:

1. API keys are for read-only access.

2. Supported transaction types for this API connection are: Deposits, Withdrawals, All Trades

3. Please note that the trade data provided is limited to transactions occurring from May 27, 2019, onwards.

STEP 1: Log in to your Bittrex Account.

STEP 2: Locate the "My Account" option, which can be found in the top right corner of the page. Click on it to proceed.

STEP 3: Once you are on the "My Account" page, look for the "API Keys" section. Select this option to access the API key management page.

STEP 4: On the API key management page, you will find a button labeled "Create New API Key." Click on it to initiate the API key creation process.

STEP 5: In the API key creation form, you will see various access permissions. To enable Read-only access, Make sure to check the box or option related to "Read Info" in the API key access section.

STEP 6: As an added layer of security, you will be prompted to complete the authentication code. After successfully completing the authentication process, click on the "Continue" button to proceed.

STEP 7: You will be Presented your API Key and Secret Key.

How to import your Bittrex data to Binocs via CSV file?

Before uploading it to Binocs, you must first download a CSV file from Bittrex containing your complete trade history.These CSV allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.

Note -

1. Please upload all CSVs for current and past years.

2. Only upload Bittrex CSVs for this exchange.

3. Please ensure that for incremental transactions, data is added only after the last transaction date and with the same account label. 

4. It's important to note that currently, the option to download a CSV specifically for deposit and withdrawal history is not available directly on the Exchange. To obtain a CSV report for deposit and withdrawal, you will need to request assistance from Bittrex support.

5. Supported transaction types for Bittrex are: Buy, Sell

STEP 1: Log in to your Bittrex account.

STEP 2: Once logged in, navigate to the top right corner of the header where you will find the "Orders" option.

STEP 3: Click on "Orders" .

STEP 4: Scroll down the page until you locate the "Download History" option within the Order History section.

STEP 5: Click on "Download History" to proceed with generating your report.

STEP 6: A pop up message  will appear, prompting you to select the desired year for the CSV download.

STEP 7: Choose the specific year for which you wish to download your order history.

STEP 8: Click on ‘Download’.

STEP 9: Your CSV will be Downloaded.

STEP 10: Your CSV will look like this, when you open the Bittrex CSV.

STEP 11: Save all the downloaded CSV files to your device for future reference.
