To Connect with Cex, you require a pair of keys - an API key and a secret key and Uid. These keys allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.
How to create an API key and Secret Key and Uid in Cex?
Before you create the API key and secret and Uid, please take note of the below points:
1. API keys are for read-only access.
2. Supported transaction types for this API connection are: Buy, Sell
STEP 1: Log in to your CEX account .
STEP 2: Click on the profile name located in the top right corner of the screen.
STEP 3: From the drop-down menu, select "Profile".
STEP 4: Click on the "API" option located under the "Profile" section in the dropdown menu.
STEP 5: Under "Permissions", select "Account Balance".
STEP 6: Click on the "Generate Key" button.
STEP 7: A pop-up message will appear to activate the key. Click on "Activate".
STEP 8: You will need to complete the Google Authentication Verification code to proceed. Enter the verification code and click "OK".
STEP 9: Another pop-up message will appear confirming that a confirmation email has been sent to your authorized email address. Click "OK".
STEP 10: Go to your email and find the confirmation email from Cex.
STEP 11: Click on the link provided in the email to activate the API key, secret key, and UID.
Note that, you should not use the same pair of key and secret keys anywhere else as it may result in API errors in the application.
Before uploading it to Binocs, you must first download a CSV file from CEX containing your complete trade history. These CSV allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.
Note -
1. Please upload all CSVs for current and past years.
2.Only upload Cex CSVs for this exchange.
3.Please ensure that for incremental transactions, data is added only after the last transaction date and with the same account label.

How to download and export your transaction history CSV file from CEX?
STEP 1: Log in to your Cex Account .
STEP 2: Click on "Products" from the top left corner of the page.
STEP 3: From the dropdown menu, select "Spot Trading".
STEP 4: Click on "Finance" in the top header column.
STEP 5: Select "Transactions" from the dropdown menu.
STEP 6: Under "Transactions", select "All currencies" and "All Transaction types".
STEP 7: Choose the date range for which you want to download the transaction history CSV.
STEP 8: Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and you will see an option to "Download CSV".
STEP 9: Click on "Download CSV".
STEP 10: Your transaction history CSV file will be downloaded to your device.
STEP 11: Your CSV will look like this ,when you open the CEX CSV.
STEP 12: Save all the downloaded CSV files to your device for future reference.
