To Connect with Huobi, you require a pair of keys - an API key and a secret key. These keys allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.

How to create an API key and Secret Key in Huobi?
 

Before you create the API key and secret, please take note of the below points:

1. API keys are for read-only access.
2. Supported transaction types for this API connection are: Deposits, Withdrawals, All Trades

STEP 1: Log  in to your Huobi account using your login credentials.

STEP 2: Locate and click on the profile icon situated in the top right corner of the page.

STEP 3: From the dropdown menu, select “API Management.”

STEP 4: Provide a name for your API that is easy to remember, such as "Binocs API," in the label field.

STEP 5: In the "Permission Settings," choose the option for “Read Only.”

STEP 6: Click on the "Create" button to proceed.

STEP 7: Complete the security authentication process, including email verification code and Google Authentication code, if applicable.

STEP 8: Once you have entered the required authentication codes, click on the "Confirm" button.

STEP 9: You will be presented with your API Key and Secret Key.

STEP 10: Copy both the API and Secret Keys and paste them in the Binocs Application.

STEP 11: Store the keys in a separate file that you can refer to in case you need them again.

Note that, you should not use the same pair of key and secret keys anywhere else as it may result in API errors in the application.

How to import your Huobi data to Binocs via CSV file?

Before uploading it to Binocs, you must first download a CSV file from Huobi containing your complete trade history.These csv allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.

1. Please upload all CSVs for current and past years.

2. Only upload Huobi CSVs for this exchange.

3. Please ensure that for incremental transactions, data is added only after the last transaction date and with the same account label.

4. Supported transaction types for Huobi are: Buy, Sell, Deposits, Withdrawals

How to download and export your transaction history CSV file from Huobi?
 

STEP 1: Log in to your Huobi account using your credentials.

STEP 2: Locate the "Orders" option in the top right-hand corner and click on it.

STEP 3: From the dropdown menu that appears, select “Spot and Margin.”

STEP 4: In the top header, choose “Order History.”

STEP 5: Please be aware that you can only export data for the last four months. If you need the full data, you will have to click on “Click here to process your request.”

STEP 6: Provide a detailed description of the purpose of the CSV file.
Select the desired time period for which you want to download the CSV file.

STEP 7: Choose the specific data type you wish to include in the CSV file.

STEP 8: Follow the instructions to upload your ID verification photo.

STEP 9: After completing the above steps, click on the "Submit" button.

STEP 10: Your data will be sent to your registered email address within five business working days.

STEP 11: Your CSV will look like this, when you open the Huobi CSV.
