How to connect Kraken to Binocs Via API?
To Connect with Kraken, you require a pair of keys - an API key and a secret key. These keys allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.
How to create an API key and Secret Key in Kraken?

STEP 1: Log into your Kraken account using your login credentials.
STEP 2: Once you're logged in, click on the "Profile" button located in the top right corner of the screen.
STEP 3: From the drop-down menu that appears, select "Security".
STEP 4: Under the "Security" tab, click on the "API" sub-tab.
STEP 5: Click on the "Add Key" button located on the right-hand side of the screen.
STEP 6: On the "Create New Key" screen, select the following boxes: "Query Funds", "Query Ledger Entries", "Query Closed Orders & Trades", and "Export Data".
STEP 7: Click on the "Generate Key" button located at the bottom of the page.
STEP 8: A new API key and secret key will be generated.
STEP 9: Copy both the API and Secret Keys and paste them in the Binocs Application.
STEP 10: You don't need to store them anywhere as keys can be generated any number of times by following the same process.
STEP 11: Note that, you should not use the same pair of key and secret keys anywhere else as it may result in API errors in the application.
How to connect Kraken to Binocs with CSV file?
Before uploading it to Binocs, you must first download a CSV file from Kraken containing your complete trade history. This CSV allow our system to read your account history to generate portfolio and compute taxes.

2.Only upload Kraken CSVs for this exchange.
3.Please ensure that for incremental transactions, data is added only after the last transaction date and with the same account label.

How to download and export your transaction history CSV file from Kraken?
STEP 1: Log into your Kraken account using your login credentials.
STEP 2: Once you're logged in, click on the "History" button located in the top navigation menu.
STEP 3: From the drop-down menu that appears, select "Ledgers".
STEP 4: On the "Ledgers" page, select your date range.
STEP 5: Once you've selected your date range and any filters, click the "Submit" button.
STEP 6: Kraken will now generate a CSV file of your ledger data. The file may take some time to generate, so be patient and wait for it to finish processing.
STEP 7: Once the CSV file is ready, you can download it by clicking on the "Download" button located at the bottom of the page.
STEP 8: Your CSV will look like this ,when you open the Kraken CSV.
STEP 9: Save the CSV file on your device for future reference.
